KYLE SCREAMS STOP – Diane slaps Claire and throws the engagement ring Young And The Restless Spoiler

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, September 1, reveals that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will panic over Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) marriage offer while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) comforts Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so here’s what viewers will see next.

At Society, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will fret over Kyle’s marriage proposal potentially backfiring, but Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will hold out hope that maybe Claire will get swept up in the romance.

Talk will turn to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) teaming up with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to go after Chancellor,

but Diane will wonder if Jack can put his concerns about Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) aside and actually do it.

Diane will push Jack to protect Kyle above all else since she won’t trust Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), especially when it comes to their son.

Since Billy is a wildcard, Diane will think Jack has to step here and be the one to truly take Victor down.

At the Abbott mansion, Kyle will create a romantic atmosphere and propose a toast to Claire when she arrives.

Kyle will hope Claire can find it in that pure heart of hers to forgive him and will reflect on what an idiot he was to keep secrets.

After Kyle admits his parents pushed him to come clean, Claire will worry Jack and Diane are the reason he confessed.

Kyle will insist the decision was his own and act like he knew it was the only option.

If they’re going to move forward, Claire will insist it’ll have to happen slowly and one step at a time.

Kyle will agree to that and hope to rebuild trust, but then he’ll ignore Claire’s wishes after they sit down to dinner.

Once Kyle hints about still being with Claire 50 years from now, he’ll pull out the ring he got from the family jeweler.

Claire will seem unsettled as she wonders what Kyle’s doing, but he won’t be deterred.

After Kyle gets down on one knee and opens the ring box, he’ll push Claire to take the leap with him.

Kyle will insist the only person he can imagine loving more than Claire Newman is Claire Abbott, so he’ll ask her to marry him.

Claire will get emotional as she shakes her head in disbelief, but she won’t look happy about Kyle’s proposal.

At Crimson Lights on Monday’s Y&R episode, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will approach Nate hoping they can fix their relationship, so he’ll demand the truth.

Audra will finally come clean about Victor’s Vibrante offer and how she agreed to break up Kyle’s relationship with Claire for funding.

However, Audra will make excuses and assure Nate that she never would’ve actually slept with Kyle.

Although Audra kissed Kyle, she’ll try to get Nate to believe she’d never truly betray him and that she’s learned her lesson.

Unfortunately, Nate will already see this as a big betrayal since Audra lied about her plans for Victor and took things as far as she did seducing Kyle.

That’s why Nate will make it clear that he’s done before walking out on Audra.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will witness the end of the fight and question Audra, but Audra will want her to butt out.

As for Nate, Victoria will find him sulking in the park.

Nate will open up about the situation with Audra and admit things are over for good, so Victoria will offer some comfort and get his gratitude.

Victoria will insist that’s what friends are for, but could she be headed back into romantic territory with Nate soon?
