Lily overhears Phyllis and Cane’s secret, learns the painful truth Young and the Restless
The Young And The Restless spoilers reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may pretend to have a relationship with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Cane wants Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) back and pretending to be with Phyllis may be just what he needs to make that happen. Of course, Lily has told Cane she wants nothing to do with him, but is that true?
Cane Ashby Wants Lily Winters Back
Cane decided that he wanted Lily back some time ago. However, Cane was working on building up his fortune and moon lighting as Aristotle Dumas.
Meanwhile, Lily was developing a relationship with Damien Kane (Jermaine Rivers) until Cane’s right hand man, Carter (Vincent Stalba) decided to take out the competition.
On the August 18 episode, Cane will once again plead with Lily to give him another chance. Cane considers that he and Lily had something special and they need to get it back.
Lily continues to disagree and refuse to give Cane another chance. Will Cain get frustrated enough to use Phyllis to get what he wants?
Phyllis Summers Will Do Anything To Help Cane Ashby
Phyllis is determined to bend over backward to see that Cane is happy and gets whatever her wants. Phyllis doesn’t have any romantic partners at the moment and really has no prospects right now.
Phyllis would not be beyond playing Cane’s girlfriend if it would make Lily jealous. No one seems to care that Lily’s boyfriend just died.
How could Lily be ready to move on with Cane after Damien was just buried? What would that say for Lily’s feelings for Damien if she were to jump into bed with Cane.
Cane had just given Damien his blessing to be with Lily, why would he expect her to suddenly be all about him? Is Cane expecting too much?
Could Lily Winter Be Protesting Too Much?
Lily keeps telling Cane that she doesn’t want anything to do with him and she blames it on their children like they are in elementary school and that his actions bother them.
Let’s be honest, those kids are what 20 at least? Are they not old enough to decide if they are upset with Cane or not? Its not like Cane has been there for years.
Perhaps Lily wants to get back with Cane and is using the kids for an excuse. Will Phyllis make Lily jealous enough to take Cane back?
Could Lily want to be a part of Cane’s takeover after the way Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) liked to her? Will Lily reclaim her man?
