Y&R Hayley Erin Spills On Claire’s Punishment for Audra – Hits Rival Where It Hurts

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Hayley Erin (Claire Newman) recently spilled on Claire’s punishment for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and how Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) girlfriend could hit her rival where it hurts.

In an interview with SOD, Hayley Erin opened up about liking her character’s moral compass and the values that Claire’s found since becoming her own person.

It was a game-changer for Claire to finally break free of Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and head down her own path.

That said, Claire has proven that she can be pushed to her limit!

After all, Claire schemed to get rid of Jordan for good during her great-aunt’s last run on the show, so she’s still got a little of her former self buried in there somewhere.

Now Claire’s sinister side could come out in a different way.

Claire wanted to protect her family when it came to Jordan, but this time it’s about protecting her relationship with Kyle and fighting back against manipulative Audra.

Y&R’s Hayley Erin seems to like the fact that Claire’s still willing to get down in the mud if need be.

There are some layers to Claire that can be peeled back when the situation calls for it.

“And I think it keeps me on my toes because I wonder, okay, well, Audra’s crossed a few lines, so where’s that going to lead Claire?

What is she going to be capable of there? Because an eye for an eye… what would that look like?” Erin said.

When pressed for an answer about what that could mean for Claire’s revenge on Audra, Erin couldn’t say for sure.

However, Erin did suggest that Claire would scheme and find “something that hurts [Audra] just as much.”

Erin also hinted about Audra losing someone she cares for, which lines up with Claire’s plan on-screen since she intends to tell Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) the truth.

Once Nate returns from Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) memorial service in Chicago, Claire has vowed to spill that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) used Audra to try and ruin her romance with Kyle.

Of course, Claire can also tell Nate about the kiss Audra planted on Kyle at Society and any other dirty moves Audra’s made.

Audra has been working overtime to convince Claire that something scandalous happened in Nice, so Nate deserves to know about all this.

Even if Claire’s vengeful plot gets delayed, there’s no way she’ll just let it go!

Claire may become the reason Audra and Nate break up in the not-too-distant future.

Unfortunately, there’s the potential for more damage to be done when it comes to Claire and Kyle’s relationship as well.

Claire doesn’t realize just how far Kyle went with Audra to prove his theory in France, so she also deserves to have all the facts.

As for Claire and Audra’s rivalry, that could intensify in the coming weeks – especially after Claire dishes out the punishment she’s promised.

Audra may strike back against Claire, but she might want to be careful!
