The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Hayley Erin, the actress who plays Claire Newman, recently had a chat with Soap Opera Digest (SOD).
She talked about how fans will soon see a ‘tougher’ side to Claire, so could the character tap into her traumatic childhood to unleash a wrath of vengeance on Audra?
Claire Newman Is Going Through A Rough Patch
The Young and the Restless spoilers remind fans that Claire is having a very difficult time.
Off the cusp of losing her dad, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), passing, she’s not only mourning a major loss, she’s dealing with the fact that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) still hasn’t accepted her romance with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and he even went as far to solicit Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to try and break her and Kyle up.
On top of that, Claire can sense that Kyle isn’t being honest with her, and there’s truth to Audra’s hints that Kyle isn’t as innocent as he claims he is. Will all this betrayal throw her over the edge?
Claire’s Willing To Forgive … Some People
Erin noted in SOD that Claire will be willing to forgive her grandpa, after all, he is family; however, she won’t be that graceful where Audra is concerned.
Claire noted during a recent episode that Audra had no idea who she was dealing with and had a very worrisome look on her face. At the end of the day, when Claire first entered Genoa City, she was as dark as they come.
Her toxic Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) taught her some underhanded moves, and fans saw a bit of this side when it came to Claire’s trap for Jordan some months ago, and the woman’s ultimate demise.
Claire’s a good person, but she knows plenty of tricks to cause chaos and can be methodical. Will she tap into some of the things Jordan had taught her during her younger years to lash back at Audra for her recent stunts? Will Kyle be safe in Claire’s revenge plan? Only time will tell.
