Congratulations! Y&R’s Melissa Ordway is excited to reveal a new member of the family.

Back in November 2024, The Young and the Restless’ Melissa Ordway announced that she had been taken off contract and though we’ve seen her here and there, she now has time to work on other things.

With the family living in Tennessee, Ordway has had to travel to Los Angeles when Genoa City calls for a visit from Abby and recently finished filming a new project in Sugarcreek, Ohio. However, playing an Amish girl wasn’t the only thing on the schedule…

The CBS soap actress posted a video on her official Instagram while dressed for the role and delivered a little extra news by introducing followers to the family’s newest member… an adorable little bundle of fur, a cavapoo puppy named Levi.

“Puppy update,” Ordway began then went on to state, “Meet our new family member — Levi Gaston! I’m proud to report he was perfect on our drive home to Nashville and he already fits right in. We are completely in love.”

The video proved as much as viewers could see the pup in the driver’s seat with his new dad, the actress’ husband Justin Gaston (ex-Chance), and from the looks of things, Levi’s head over heels in love with his new human siblings Olivia and Sophie.

By the way, we would’ve loved to have seen the look on the breeder’s face when Ordway turned up leading her pack dressed in her Amish attire.

And Gaston posted a video of his own and shared, “Welcome home Levi Yoder Gaston. We love you.”

One of Ordway’s castmates, Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren), jumped into the comments under her post to joke that she would be booking a trip to Tennessee and stated, “OMG that face. I’m coming over!” We have to agree… Levi sure is a looker!
