Towering Stilettos Challenge

This new social media challenge has been all over TikTok. Women (and men) are recreating Nicki Minaj’s iconic pose from her 2013 song “High School.” In the music video, the rapper sits on one leg as she crosses the other. TikTok users have been defying gravity with this bold move. Stafford had to try it for herself.

In a new Instagram post, she shared a clip that unveiled numerous women pulling off this pose in high heels. As for Stafford, she tried to keep it safe. “This doesn’t seem safe,” she said as she thought through this challenge. She placed a stack of pots and pans in her kitchen and then put on her white high-heeled stilettos.

Stafford asked her daughter to help her. “That’s going to break,” Jameson said. “You don’t believe in me, and that’s offensive,” Stafford said. The Y&R star questioned why people were taking on this challenge in the first place since it seemed risky. Regardless, Stafford carefully climbed onto the stack as she crossed her left leg over her right.

She sat there with her arms raised in the air, as if she were meditating. Stafford completed her look with sunglasses, and then the music played. No sweat. Now, it’s Heinle’s turn. In Stafford’s post, she wrote, “I challenge @ameliamheinle go girl #YR camera work by Jameson Stafford.”

Gravity-Defying Act

This trend has sparked awe and concern. Some users have wondered how people have perfected the pose. Y&R fans are feeling the same mix of feelings. They took to the comments section of Stafford’s post to share their thoughts. This video brought joy to some people’s days.

“I love you for doing this. Made me smile and start my day off in a great mood. Thank you,” one fan commented. “OMG, Michelle… that was great using your kitchen pots! I wouldn’t dare try it… I just turned 72 yesterday, and knowing me, I’d fall and break a hip!! lol,” another fan wrote.

“Damn, that’s so dangerous. The heels really take it to another level! I wonder how many have tried and broken bones?” a third fan wondered. We wouldn’t suggest doing this at home. But what are your thoughts on this viral challenge? Sound off below in the comments section.
