The Young and the Restless: Victor’s Revenge on Cane – Amy’s Crushing Blow

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of July 28-August 1 reveals that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will plot revenge on Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) kicks off another risky plan. Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) will also face a crushing blow, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on Y&R.

In Nice, Carter (Vincent Stalba) will create a hostage situation that ends in a climactic struggle with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). After Chance is shot and killed, Carter will use one final bullet on himself.

Cane will get an apology from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) once she’s free from Carter’s grasp.

Lily will be sorry for throwing murder accusations at Cane since she’ll know he’s not capable of that deep down.

Although Cane’s made a ton of new enemies thanks to the mayhem on his summer estate, he won’t let that deter him from returning to Genoa City and continuing his plans there.

That includes Cane’s efforts to repair the damage with Lily and win her back.

In the meantime, cell service will be turned on, so that’ll give all the guests a chance to get back in touch with their loved ones in Genoa City.

Lily will give Nate updates on Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) grim fate, so he’ll crush Amy with the news that her son won’t be coming home.

Word will spread about Chance’s grisly outcome as well, so all his loved ones will have to mourn a terrible loss.

While Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is injured and perhaps not thinking clearly, he’ll kiss Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and make things complicated for them once they head home.

After Nick’s wound is treated and he’s on the mend, will he have any regrets about crossing that romantic line with Sharon?

As for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), they’ll continue to make progress in their sibling relationship.

Victoria and Adam have established some peace between them lately, so they’ll decide to keep it up.

That’ll be music to Victor’s ears as he focuses on family unity. Victor will also want to make sure Cane learns a difficult lesson, so it sounds like revenge is on the way.

Once Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) find a way to play with fire again, reality will hit hard for Kyle.

After Kyle finds out Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) passed away, he’ll feel awful about not being there to support Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) all this time.

It turns out Kyle will also give Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) a reason to fret over him.

That’s typical for Diane and Jack since Kyle is always landing in more trouble!

Speaking of trouble, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will sense some is brewing when Phyllis takes a gamble on a new plan.

This may involve Phyllis’ alliance with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and their ultimate goal of using Cane to go after Chancellor.

After Daniel sounds the alarm, he’ll come to Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) rescue again.

Tessa will be trying to entertain Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) alone in the park, so Daniel may pitch in when he encounters them.
