The Young and the Restless Monday, July 21 Update | Y&R 07/21/2025 Update
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, July 21, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will dump his Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) partnership and team up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to clear Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) name.
On the train, Nick will slam Phyllis all over again for defending Cane, but she’ll think maybe they’re both being set up.
Of course, Nick will continue to believe Cane’s guilty – especially since he heard the news about the security footage getting erased.
After Nick says he’s going down the mountain to get the cops, Phyllis will advise against it since the terrain is too dangerous.
Nick will still plan to go, so Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will join him in his sleeping car and insist on going as well.
When Carter (Vincent Stalba) shows up at Nick’s door, he’ll have a beefy security guard with him.
Carter will put Nick on house arrest for the safety of “Mr. Dumas” and to offer peace of mind to the others on the property.
Nick will balk, but Carter will point out that the security guard has a weapon and will warn Nick not to make him use it.
After Sharon steps forward, Carter will admit he wasn’t aware she was standing there.
Once Carter says Sharon will have to come with them, she’ll get put on house arrest, too.
Other Y&R spoilers say Billy will get into a heated argument with Jack, so he’ll end up ditching their partnership.
Billy will make it clear that he can find someone else to invest, so Jack will assume he means Cane.
Afterward, Billy will have a strategy session with Phyllis, so they’ll talk about his desire for Chancellor and her desire for a job.
The key to accomplishing their goals will be clearing Cane’s name, so Phyllis and Billy will join forces to make that happen.
In Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) sleeping car, it’ll seem like he’s going to hit the sheets with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Audra and Kyle will kiss like crazy as they lean back on the bed, but then Kyle will pump the brakes and admit he knows about her scheme.
It turns out Kyle will just be testing Audra to see how far she’s willing to go to pull off Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan.
Kyle will insist Audra’s been plotting to destroy his relationship with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), but he’ll defend their deep love and note that Audra failed.
After Kyle accuses Audra of using Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) death as a manipulation tactic, she’ll argue that she wasn’t.
Audra will deny scheming for Victor and will act like this was all spontaneous, but Kyle won’t buy that for a second.
In the end, a defeated Audra will leave Kyle’s train car, so stay tuned for updates on what she’ll do next.
