The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of July 21-25 reveals that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be forced on house arrest while Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) suspects Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is destroying evidence.
Y&R’s weekly promo kicks off with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) quizzing Carter (Vincent Stalba) as Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) stands nearby.
After Victor asks if Cane confided in Carter regarding his plan to murder Damian, there’ll be suspicions about how far Carter might’ve gone to help his boss.
“It is true that I would do anything for Mr. Dumas, but I did not do what you both think I did,” Carter says in the weekly preview video.
Next, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will get spooked by a noise in the garden area.
It’ll leave them both rattled as Audra asks who’s there, but will this involve the murderer or just a false alarm?
Over with Amanda, she’ll catch Cane in the office with the video equipment and demand to know what he’s doing.
Cane will reply that he’s just trying to get this footage, so he’ll most likely be trying to access the backup once 24 hours have passed.
“Please do not tell me that you are deleting evidence. That is absolutely the worst thing that you can do right now,” Amanda warns in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
After Amanda basically accuses Cane of destroying incriminating proof, he’ll spin the question around on her and wonder if she did it instead.
The promo also features Carter coming to Nick’s sleeping car with a burly guard to help him enforce what’s next.
“I need you to come with me. For Mr. Dumas’ safety and the peace of mind of all the rest of the guests, I’m placing you under house arrest,” Carter says in the preview clip.
