The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Spoilers for Monday, July 14, reveals that Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) will get stabbed and collapse in Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) arms. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also spot a crime scene, so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.
On the train, Phyllis will stonewall Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) when it comes to what she’s learned through her meetings with Cane.
The fact that Phyllis seems more inclined to give Cane loyalty than anyone else will continue to irritate Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
After Nick and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) head for the maze, she’ll return to the train car to retrieve something and send him to the bar without her.
Meanwhile, Cane will be with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) pops up for some flirty moments with Damian by her side.
That’ll lead to Cane asking if Damian and Lily are a couple, so Lily will eventually claim they are.
Cane will promise not to mention his feelings for Lily again and will wish her happiness, even if this isn’t the outcome he wanted.
After Cane asks to speak with Damian privately, Amanda and Lily will take a walk together.
Once Amanda quizzes Lily about whether she’s using Damian to get Cane to back off, Lily will push for the truth about Cane’s agenda.
Amanda will get frustrated over Phyllis being the only one willing to give Cane the benefit of the doubt.
Lily will obviously have good reasons to remain wary of her ex, but Amanda will defend Cane and his growth as a person.
As for Nick, he’ll pop up to grill Amanda about why she’s such a Cane apologist.
Lily will eventually feel like Cane and Damian’s discussion is taking too long, so she’ll go looking for them.
Back with Cane, he’ll grab an expensive bottle of booze and pop it open so he can share it with Damian.
Cane will sip it slowly, but it’ll seem like Damian’s downing more of it faster.
Cane will assure Damian that he’ll keep his word not to pursue Lily if that’s what she wants.
That said, Cane will warn Damian not to hurt Lily, so Damian will insist he doesn’t intend to.
At one point, Damian will start feeling woozy and will question if Cane’s trying to poison him over Lily.
Cane will argue that they’re both drinking the same thing and suggest he’d be trying to take them both out if that was the case.
However, Cane will ultimately realize he feels woozy too and will determine that something isn’t right.
Damian will be feeling much sicker by then, but Cane will think they need to get back to the others.
Nearby, someone wearing gloves will lurk with a knife.
After Cane stands Damian up and tries to get him to walk, the mystery culprit will get close enough to hurl the knife into Damian’s back.
Cane will seem stunned as wounded Damian falls into his arms and eventually loses consciousness on the ground.
Back with Phyllis, she’ll get lost in the maze again and will hint about things seeming different tonight.
Phyllis will seem like she’s trying to fight off her panic as she runs into Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
After everyone splits up, Phyllis will appear in the courtyard and see Cane holding stabbed Damian in his arms.
Cane and Phyllis will lock eyes as she takes in the crime scene.
