The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, July 14, reveal that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will spy trouble while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) goes after answers. Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will also extend an invitation, but it won’t be long until things take an unsettling turn.
In Nice, Phyllis will have an intriguing encounter with Nick, who’ll presumably apply more pressure about picking a side.
Nick thinks Phyllis should stand with the Newmans and everyone else who’s becoming a target in this feud with Cane.
Phyllis has already pledged her loyalty to Cane’s team, but Nick doesn’t know that yet.
However, the topic of who Phyllis supports will suddenly become less important when she realizes Nick is hiding something.
When Phyllis grills Nick about something he witnessed, he’ll act like she’s just stalling.
Even so, Phyllis will be convinced that Nick spied some trouble and that he’s not “fine” like he claims.
Phyllis will seek answers on whatever news Nick is concealing, but will he admit the truth?
The bigger questions might involve what Nick saw and why it’s got him on edge!
It’s possible Nick will spot something like a meeting between Cane and Carter (Vincent Stalba).
If Nick senses that Cane is plotting something with his strange, robotic assistant, that could be enough to unnerve him.
Then again, Nick might spy Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) crossing the line with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) or some other incident that leaves him mulling over how much to spill.
Regardless, Y&R fans know how relentless Phyllis can be, so she’ll definitely pester Nick pretty hard and hope to pry information out of him.
Over with Cane, he’ll apparently invite Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) to have a drink with him so they can discuss Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
The situation will take a scary turn as Damian guzzles the booze and finds his health declining rapidly.
Damian will question if Cane might’ve poisoned him, but Cane will deny it since he’s drinking from the same bottle.
Of course, it could be a situation where Damian was actually poisoned much earlier.
Whatever the case, Damian will become disoriented and struggle to stay awake, so Cane will watch this health crisis play out right in front of him.
