The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, July 4, leave the country on Independence Day to make their point. Cane said no one could get out of his villa due to weather conditions. But, I guess other people could get in?

Cane (Billy Flynn) was obviously lying when he claimed they were trapped in France, since he managed to get out and take a quick flight to Genoa City for a tête-à-tête with Holden (Nate Owens).

Victor (Eric Braeden) is sure that he knows everything going on, and that he’s eight steps ahead of Cane in every way. So why hasn’t he figured out that they can leave at anytime?

Knowing Victor, it’s because he wants Cane to think that Victor thinks that Cane thinks that Victor thinks they’re trapped.

But, in reality, it’s Victor who is pulling all the strings. Or so he thinks. In any case, Victor has another surprise for his host.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has complete faith in Victor. Victor is always right, and he always knows what’s best, and any decision he makes is the right one, and his family comes first, which is why they are all so happy and never want for anything.

But… even though Victor swore that he’s not selling Chancellor Enterprises and Nikki will remain its head, Nikki is… vaguely concerned. Not because she’s starting to doubt Victor. No one ever should, or, honestly, ever could doubt Victor. But, you know… Nikki is… a little bit worried.

If Cane could leave France and come back, so can anyone. Which is why Adam (Mark Grossman) pops up at the going on a week now party.
