What’s The Young And The Restless’ End Game With Sharon & Nick?
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Shick fans are getting mighty antsy where a reunion between Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is concerned.
Nick made it clear to Sharon recently that the two make better friends than lovers. With that said, he was quick to ask her to be his plus-one for the Aristotle Dumas/Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) party in Nice, France. So, will they, or won’t they?
Poop Or Get Off The Pot!
At this point, it’s been well over a year since the soap hinted at a Shick reunion. Fans may recall that in January 2024, while Sharon was with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), she had an odd dream with many eccentric themes.
While the entire thing seemed like a bizarro world, one thing was clear: she still had feelings for Nick. Sharon ended up breaking things off with Chance shortly after the fact.
Many viewers may argue that it always seems as though the daytime drama is teasing a Shick reunion; however, both characters have been single for well over a year, and both of their storylines have revolved around each other in some capacity.
At this point, slow burn doesn’t even begin to describe Shick’s reunion (even if it ends up happening).
Time to Push Forward Or Move On
Most fans would love to see the show either give Sharon and Nick a romantic reunion or just give them both a bonafide new love story (one that doesn’t necessarily involve Nick getting back together with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), either).
There are plenty of other fish in the Genoa City sea for either character. Nick could reunite with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) – as he has a thing for exes – or enjoy a romance with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Meanwhile, what about pairing up Sharon with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) or Cane? Either way, it would be great to move on with this storyline, whether that meant a romance for these old high school sweethearts or a new love for each of them.
