The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, June 20, reveal that Aristotle Dumas aka Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will face a giant grilling session. Cane fully expected all the questions and backlash, so he’ll be prepared when his guests put him through an interrogation.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will demand some answers and will feel especially duped since Cane previously reached out to him as Dumas.
This twisted game won’t go over well with Billy or anyone else for that matter!
Once Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) calms down following her panicked outburst in the maze, she’ll push Cane to give the real story he’s promised.
Lily will be sick of all the deception, so she’ll want Cane to get everything out in the open.
How exactly did Cane become a billionaire with multiple homes – including this giant Nice estate – in just six short years?
Cane is a very wealthy man thanks to his other life as Dumas, but he’ll stand by his claim that he achieved it all legitimately.
It’s easy to see why there would be assumptions about Cane’s illegal moves, but he’ll maintain that he earned his fortune fair and square.
Of course, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may disagree due to some of his dirty feuds with Dumas in the past.
Although Victor didn’t know who Dumas was back then, he started to suspect Cane was the man behind the mystery somewhere along the way.
It’ll be interesting to find out exactly what ultimately caused Victor’s Cane suspicions.
After Cane deals with all his agitated party guests, he’ll have a private meeting with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
That’ll give Amanda a chance to deliver a warning and urge Cane not to underestimate Victor.
Cane won’t think he should be underestimated either and will plan to stand against Victor as their rivalry gets worse.
As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll ambush Cane to propose an alliance and will try to butter him up in the process.
Y&R fans know Phyllis isn’t someone who gives up, so she’ll roll with this Cane revelation and hope for a partnership.
There’ll also be some late party arrivals within the next episode or two, so look for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) and Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) to waltz into a startling situation.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the other guests will give Abby, Chance, Lauren and Michael updates on what they missed, so they’ll react to some shocking Cane news.
