he Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, June 16, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will face some poison panic, and Aristotle Dumas’ (Billy Flynn) note will add to the intrigue of his upcoming party. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also cancel Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plans, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
At the GCAC, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will push Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) buttons by calling Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) a snake and playing up his adventurous days in LA with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Nate will urge Holden to leave town since he doesn’t want a job at Winters, but Holden will insist he likes it in Genoa City.
Since Holden will be sticking around, Nate will warn him to stay out of their lives.
At Society, Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will brainstorm ways to deal with Victor’s deadline for the Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) hit pieces, but they won’t be able to come up with a solid plan.
In the end, Adam will decide he’s not going to run the pieces after all and will vow to deal with Victor the raging volcano when he gets back.
Chelsea will be pleased over Adam’s decision, so they’ll express their love and feel like they’re finally getting this whole reunion thing right this time.
On Dumas’ train going up the mountain, Sharon will gush over it as she gets settled in with Victor, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Nikki will crack a joke and act like the refreshments might be poisoned, so Sharon will get a little on edge considering the drugging ordeals she went through.
Sharon will decide not to partake of the Champagne and caviar, but she’ll change her mind and indulge in some bubbly after Nick reassures her.
Victor will read a welcome note from Dumas that says he hopes they’re looking forward to the main event.
There’ll also be a quote from The Count of Monte Cristo as Dumas highlights the importance of waiting and hoping.
Once Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) join the others, it won’t be long until Victor and Billy are trading barbs.
Victor will think Dumas is just using Billy and only wants him there for his own amusement.
Billy, on the other hand, will think Victor’s the one in for a rude awakening and will play up Dumas’ Chancellor mission.
Victor will offer some cryptic hints that make it seem like he knows more than he’s letting on about Dumas, so Nikki will assume he knows Dumas’ real identity.
When Nikki asks if they’re going to be upset or surprised by the revelation, Victor will shrug off the question.
Elsewhere, Y&R fans will see the back of Billy Flynn’s head as Dumas watches a camera feed of his guests and says it won’t be long now.
