‘DOOL’ Alum Billy Flynn’s ‘Y&R’ First Air Date Revealed, Y&R is an indescribable feeling
Chad DiMera is an important character on Days Of Our Lives. He’s the illegitimate son of one of Salem’s most iconic villains, the late Stefano DiMera (played by late actor Joseph Mascolo.) Billy Flynn took over the role of Chad in 2014. Many viewers may not even remember the previous actor in the role. Casey Deidrick played Chad from 2009 until 2013.
Billy Flynn’s Chad was involved in a sweet romance with Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) before Abby was brutally murdered by Clyde Weston (James Read) in 2022. A mysterious woman, played by prime-time star AnnaLynne McCord, showed in Salem last year claiming she was Abigail. However, the woman was later revealed as Cat Greene. She was forced by Clyde to impersonate Chad’s dead wife.
While Chad was angry when he found out, he couldn’t deny his connection with Cat. The two went on a skydiving date for charity recently, and the show seems to be hinting at a romance between them.
But Billy Flynn announced a few months ago that he was leaving the Peacock soap after over a decade. He didn’t want to play the same role forever and wanted to try something new. The actor landed a gig at The Young and The Restless
Billy Flynn’s Y&R First Air Date Revealed
DOOL fans were heartbroken when Billy Flynn announced he was leaving for another soap. But at the same time, they were excited to see him in a new role. His jump to the CBS soap has been shrouded in mystery. But it will all start to be revealed soon.
According to TV Guide magazine, viewers won’t have to wait much longer to see Billy Flynn’s debut on The Young and the Restless. The magazine reported in the most recent issue that the actor’s first air date is on Monday, June 16. Since it’s a soap, his appearance will likely be teased in a cliffhanger on Friday’s episode.
We know when he makes his debut, but who is he playing?
Backstage Photo Teases Who He’s Playing
Fans were really excited to see Billy Flynn join The Young and The Restless in a new role. But if online speculation is correct, the role isn’t new after all.
A photo from backstage at the show seemed to hint at Billy Flynn’s character. The photo shows a clothing rack for the actors. Above a fancy suit and other clothing are the letters CA. The next letter isn’t clear, but fans jumped on the idea that it says CANE, as in Cane Ashby.
Fans have been speculating for months that the character was returning. They thought Daniel Goddard was returning to the role he played on and off for nearly twelve years. However, Goddard joined General Hospital in April, putting to rest rumors that he was headed back to Y&R.
There is also speculation that Billy Flynn will play the mysterious Aristotle Dumas. In fact, some of the residents of Genoa City are heading to Paris to confront Dumas, which would perfectly align with Billy Flynn’s debut.
Some fans are even convinced that Cane Ashby is Aristotle Dumas, meaning Billy Flynn is both characters. The truth will be revealed in the next few weeks after the actor makes his long-awaited debut on Y&R.
