The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, June 9, reveal that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) could be in danger if Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) spills. Mariah has hinted that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) would be proud of whatever horrible thing she did, so viewers may get a step closer to learning why soon enough.
While Mariah was away on her Cassidy First business trip, she got drunk and did something she regrets.
An older guy who somewhat resembled Ian appeared at Mariah’s table and offered to be a friend to her.
Mariah made it clear to Sharon that she did something far worse than cheating and kept talking like it was truly sinister.
There was another hint about Mariah kicking off all this trouble by talking to a stranger – and that was obviously this Ian-reminiscent mystery man.
Tessa doesn’t want to push too hard, but she doesn’t like the wall that Mariah’s built between them.
It’s really taking a toll, so Tessa will take Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) advice and try to chip away at that wall on Monday’s Y&R episode.
Tessa will try to convince Mariah that it’s safe to confess, but Mariah won’t agree with that.
As Mariah flies into panic mode, she’ll double down on the secrecy and argue that there’s nothing safe about confessing to Tessa at all.
It sounds like this is bigger than just Mariah’s guilt and horror.
Mariah seemingly feels like if she divulges the truth to Tessa or anyone else, she’ll drag them into whatever dangerous mess she’s created.
Tessa and even Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) could be at risk if Mariah spills too much, so it’s easy to see why she’s so freaked out!
There’s a chance Mariah pulled some sort of con on this mystery man.
It’s even possible Mariah played a role in his grim fate if the whole night spiraled out of control.
Then again, maybe some other type of criminal activity played out.
If this mystery guy is still alive, he might have some serious leverage that he’s holding over Mariah.
Regardless, Mariah won’t feel like she can come clean without putting Tessa in harm’s way, so Tessa may realize this drama is even messier than she suspected.
Over with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she has another meeting with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) coming up.
It appears Victor will score the Dumas party invitations Audra pushed for, so she’ll be tasked with tricking Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) into heading to Nice for the shindig as well.
