Hallmark Goes Glam

King posted a series of photos from the event on Instagram. The first shot showed her all glammed up in a black one-shoulder gown with a print in greens, pinks, oranges, and grays. Her sister, Joey King, joined in on the fun as well.

She wore a black and cream-colored evening gown. The sisters were joined by their mom. The rest of the Instagram post included shots of the event and more of the sisters on the golden carpet.

In her post, King announced that the Hallmark film Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs’ Love Story won an award for Best Ensemble Cast in a Made for TV Movie. During the ceremony, the soap alum got the surprise of her life. Her sister presented her with the award while their mom stood by and handed the trophy.

“We truly became a family making this film, so to receive this award together was such a gift.🤍 And a huge thank you to all the amazing women behind the story, especially our brilliant writer @julie_sherman_wolfe and everyone at @hallmarkchannel for letting us be a part of a film that celebrates love, family, and community (and of course Christmas).

AND to top it all off, my sister surprised us by presenting our award, and my mom was the trophy girl. I mean….come on. It doesn’t get better than that,🤍 #” King wrote in the caption.

Fans React

King’s fans took to the comments section to react to her award and sweet surprise. Most of them congratulated her on the honor. “Congratulations on the award, your show deserves it…” one fan commented. “Congratulations 👏 and your dress is stunning,” another fan wrote, complimenting King’s gown.

However, some Y&R fans miss her on the show. One fan wrote, “Congratulations. You’re doing great things. I miss you on Y&R, though.”

Another user echoed similar sentiments, writing, “You’re the best. I miss you so much on Y&R.” Fans are holding out hope for King’s return, but her career is soaring outside of daytime television. We couldn’t be any happier for her. Find out why King’s feeling so grateful these days.
