he Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, May 13, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will steal Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) phone and see Aristotle Dumas’ text exchange with him. That’ll give Phyllis the upper hand, so let’s discuss some of her bold moves on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.

At Society, Phyllis will continue listening in on Billy’s conversation with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about Dumas going after Chancellor and defeating Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

After Phyllis interrupts, she’ll insist she’s moving on and will make a prediction about working with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).

Phyllis will act like Abbott Communications is going to crash and burn, but Billy will try to seem nonchalant.

Once Billy and Sally step away, Phyllis will manage to steal Billy’s phone off the table.

That’ll give Phyllis a chance to look through it in the park, so she’ll see Billy’s text exchange with Dumas and pull out her own phone to put the mystery man’s contact info in.

Back with Billy, he’ll talk to Sally about Victor being a bigger problem than Phyllis, but Sally will think she can handle the mudslinging.

Later, Phyllis will slip back into Society and put Billy’s phone on the chair he was using earlier.

Billy will return looking for his missing phone, so Phyllis will step into the restroom and spy on him as he finds it.

There won’t be any suspicions raised for Billy, who’ll seemingly just assume he left it on his chair by mistake.

At Newman Media, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will seem like she’s ready to back out of working with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) because of Victor, but he’ll promise that he’ll stand up to his dad when necessary.

After Chelsea relents, she’ll get more reassurance that Adam won’t let Newman Media become a vendetta machine.

Adam will end up taking Chelsea to celebrate at the GCAC, where they’ll run into Victor.

Once Victor asks to speak with Adam privately, he’ll shut down Adam’s alternative plan and insist he still wants his son to trash Billy publicly.

Despite Adam’s objections, Victor will count on him to get everything ready and await word on publishing.

Victor will admit he’s given Billy an ultimatum that could influence things, but he won’t offer up the details.

After Victor hopes Adam’s apartment sale to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has been canceled as well, Adam will join Chelsea at a table.

Chelsea will see that Adam’s looking intense – and when he gets evasive with her, she’ll get even more concerned.

Adam will suggest Victor’s plan against Billy is on hold and try to convince Chelsea to focus on their celebration.

At one point, Victor will come over and propose a toast to welcome Chelsea to the company, which will lead to him fishing for news on whether there’ll be an engagement announcement, too.

Afterward, Victor will run into Phyllis, who’ll ask him to have a drink with her.

When Victor wonders why he would do that, Phyllis will note that she’s got a proposition to run by him.

In the jazz lounge, Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) will push Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to reveal the details of her plans for him at Winters.

Lily will explain the Dumas double agent situation as they go over the risks of this arrangement.

In the end, Damian will decide he’s in, so he’ll plan to talk to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and make it clear to him that he’s doing this for the right reasons.
