The Young and the Restless

Young and the Restless’ Zuleyka Silver Loves Playing This Side of Audra the Most

Zuleyka Silver has become a breakout star on The Young and the Restless. Her character Audra has become a central player in major storylines and undergone many changes. Whether Audra is a good or bad girl, Silver kills it with her performances. However, the actress has a preference when it comes to portraying Audra.

Who Is Audra Charles On 'The Young And The Restless'?

Good or Bad?

When Audra first arrived in Genoa City, she was a vixen who’d do anything to get ahead in the business world. The go-getter wasn’t afraid to backstab her friends if it’d help her.

However, karma soon caught up to Audra when Kyle (Michael Mealor) got her fired from Glissade.

After her humiliating, yet humbling experience, Audra turned her life around. She’s become a kinder person, who puts others ahead of herself.

Silver has done a tremendous job of switching from playing a vixen to a heroine. In a recent interview with Woman’s World, the actress opened up about Audra’s two sides.

While she’s enjoyed exploring Audra’s good girl side, she admits it’s more fun portraying a bad girl.

“Whenever I feel like she does something that’s a little too nice, I’m like, ‘Let’s not forget who Audra is at her core!’” Silver joked. “She is scheming, and I love that about her.

It’s so fun to play someone that has this ulterior motive or is using people to her advantage, because it’s so far from who I am.”

Young & Restless Preview: Summer Confronts Kyle Over Audra

From the looks of Audra’s current storyline, she might be returning to her devious ways. Audra receives an offer from Victor (Eric Braeden) that is too good to pass up.

She can get revenge on Kyle while also getting her foot back in the corporate world. But given Victor’s history, this might be an offer Audra regrets in the long run.

No matter what happens to Audra, Silver will deliver with her performance.
