Young And The Restless Scoop April 9 | Y&R 04/09/2025
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoiler for Wednesday, April 9, reveals that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will know it’s Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) after questioning. Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) may also be on the verge of making a play for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) – at least if Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) fear proves accurate!
At Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) place, she’ll still be with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) when Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) returns with more information.
The farmhouse linked to the clinic in Paris had a video setup connected to the room where Sharon and Phyllis were held.
Phyllis and Sharon’s phones were also found inside the house, so the cops will plan to check for DNA and fingerprints.
Since Martin was arrested a few years back and Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) fingerprints may have been on file at the clinic, Chance will plan to get that info, too.
At the GCAC, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will put Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) conversation with “Alan” on speakerphone. Ashley and Jack will be alarmed over “Alan’s” menacing questions and Traci’s scared reaction.
Once Jack texts Chance, the detective will take off and leave Sharon alone with Nick again
Sharon will reflect on how much she’s been through in recent months and will just want all this to finally be over, but Nick will praise her for being so resilient.
Back in Traci’s suite, “Alan” will continue to sense a change in her and will demand to know what’s in her pocket.
Traci will push “Alan” to leave as the confrontation escalates, so he’ll finally offer a half-hearted apology and urge her to be honest about what’s going on.
After Jack shows up at the door, “Alan” will question if Traci signaled her brother to come save her.
Traci will act like that’s ridiculous, but she’ll obviously be relieved once she lets Jack in with Ashley.
Jack will act like Ashley just wanted to come up for a family reunion, but “Alan” will remain upset over Traci pumping the brakes on the wedding.
Ashley will point out that “Alan” once told her there could be a certain charm in delaying gratification.
“Alan” won’t remember that, so Ashley will find that odd since it was something that really made an impression on her.
“Alan” will eventually push for time alone, so Traci will give him a quick kiss and make a prediction about working things out.
However, Ashley will deliver some difficult news once “Alan” exits.
Since Ashley knew Alan for a very long time, she’ll feel confident that’s NOT the real Alan at all.
Ashley will insist it’s been Martin all along and will see how calculating he was being just now.
Traci will be in denial at first and will ultimately wonder what it says about her if she could call in love with a monster.
Ashley won’t think Traci should blame herself since Martin is a genius at fooling people – and she’ll think that if Traci had gotten to know the real Alan, perhaps they could’ve genuinely fallen in love.
Traci will end up crying in Ashley’s arms while Jack updates Chance on “Alan” aka Martin leaving the suite. That’ll give Chance an opportunity to look around the dining room, where he’ll stop “Alan” near the bar.
Chance will start asking questions about the farmhouse lease that was purchased through the Paris clinic, so “Alan” will play dumb and get agitated.
“Alan” will feel like he’s being interrogated and will claim he doesn’t know why, so Chance will offer to explain things to him down at the station.
Back in Traci’s suite, she’ll suddenly look determined and storm out the door. Ashley and Jack will follow Traci, who’ll confront “Alan” aka Martin downstairs.
Traci will corner the man in front of her and insist that if he ever felt anything for her at all, he needs to tell her who he is right now!
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis will bump into Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and join her at a table.
Once Phyllis shares Chance’s suspicions about “Alan” possibly being Martin and being behind the kidnapping chaos, Summer will flip out over this guy previously sharing a home with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).
Talk will eventually turn to Chance breaking things off with Summer for not being over Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
That’ll leave Phyllis concerned about Summer’s next move.
“You’re not gonna try to make a play for Kyle, are you?” Phyllis will ask on Wednesday’s Y&R episode.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer could make some risky decisions soon when it comes to her love life, so stay tuned!
