The Young and the Restless Recap: Holden Busted After Amy’s Ambush – Diane Seeks a New Ally
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 6, reveals that Holden (Nathan Owens) will get busted after Amy Lewis’ (Valarie Pettiford) ambush – and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will seek a new ally.
At the Abbott mansion, Diane will warn Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) not to go up against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) over Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) relationship. The last thing Victor and Jack need is another reason to feud!
Once talk turns to Jack visiting Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) after all the latest Newman drama, there’ll be more bickering.
Diane will eventually change the subject and suggest giving Abbott mansion a refresh, but Jack will be hesitant.
Although Jack will play up how this is a house full of memories, Diane will want a little piece of her there. Since Diane used to be an architect, she’ll know what she’s doing and will make positive predictions about how it’ll turn out.
Jack will at least consider the idea – though he’ll want to know what Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) think, too.
Later, Traci will appear in the living room, so Diane will use this opportunity to pitch her redecorating plan. Diane will hope Traci’s willing to help her talk Jack into it.
Traci will admit she’s wanted to make some updates to the place for years, so she’ll decide she’s on Diane’s team here.
At Crimson Lights, Kyle and Claire will join Nikki before Kyle steps away for a phone call. That’ll give Nikki and Claire a chance to talk about Victor’s disapproval of his granddaughter’s relationship.
Although Claire will ask Nikki to speak with Victor and defend her romance, Nikki will point out that she already has.
Instead, Nikki will think Claire herself should talk to Victor and play up Kyle’s similar protective qualities.
Claire will insist Kyle and Victor really are a lot alike, so she’ll eventually ask Kyle how he’d feel about them having dinner with her grandfather.
It’ll be obvious that Claire’s hoping to make Victor see how happy she is and accept that Kyle’s a good man.
At Society, Amy will have a dizzy spell and nearly pass out during her lunch with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), so Audra will text Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and take Amy back to his place.
On the coffeehouse patio on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Nate will meet with Holden as he pretends to be Damian King (Jermaine Rivers) again.
Holden will push for answers on how Nate knows Amy and feign surprise as Nate explains that she worked for his father the PI.
After Audra’s text cuts the meeting short, Nate will take off in a hurry.
Once Nate tends to Amy at home, he’ll push her to move in his guest room and accept some other medical opinions using his connections.
Nate won’t think “Damian” is willing to hear the full story from anyone but him, but Amy will insist she has to be the one to tell him.
As a compromise, Nate will suggest telling “Damian” together and will summon him to his apartment.
Once “Damian” arrives, Nate will promise answers and apologize in advance for what’s next. Nate will hope “Damian” understands afterward and will shout for Amy to come downstairs.
When Amy sees Holden, she’ll demand to know who this man is since she obviously won’t recognize him at all.
