“My family lost everything in the fire,” he says as he shared a clip on his Instagram stories.

The musician/actor created a fundraisder on spotfund where he details, “My family just recently moved to the palisades.

They had just gotten settled when the holidays rolled around. We had the most amazing Christmas in that house.

When the news came about the fire starting, we thought that much like all the fires of the past, there was no way our house would be at risk.

My family lost everything. All the artwork my dad made his entire life. All the photographs of my child hood.

Countless books and records. Motorcycles, furniture, jewelry, the million little things you amass over a lifetime that make up your life and hold so many memories.

Unfortunately and unexpectedly gone. Left with the clothes on their backs. They have to start fresh. Any little thing helps.”

At least five lives have been claimed by the California wildfire in Los Angeles, with over 100,000 residents evacuating their homes as fires rage in the Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst areas, intensified by powerful Santa Ana winds and severe drought conditions. (Photo: JPI/Instagram.)
