The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that it might look like love on the surface, but that doesn’t seem to be the case at all.

Hope Doesn’t Actually Love Liam

Of course, we are talking about Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), as during the most recent episode of the soap, her mother Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) said that she believed her daughter has never really fallen out of love with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

But here’s the thing: what Hope and Liam had between them might not have been love. Instead, it could be that they are just trauma bonded together and that’s why Hope can’t get Liam off her mind.

As many The Bold and the Beautiful fans can recall, Hope went through hell and back when she and Liam thought that they had lost their daughter Beth after she was born.

Well, it turns out that the very shady Dr. Reese Buckingham gave the baby for adoption to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). He used the adoption money to pay off his gambling debts.

Hope and Liam eventually got their baby back, but things have never been the same for Hope since. She has a hard time trusting not only men, but anyone who tries to get too close to her.

What’s Next For Hope And Liam?

And while Liam and Hope have had their issues in the past, Hope has been willing to forgive him for all of his waffling back and forth between her and Steffy. That’s because she is truly trauma bonded with him.

Sure, there might be some love between Hope and Liam at the end of the day, but if it weren’t for the ordeal that they dealt with, there’s a chance that she would not be feeling as strong about him as she does today.
