Heartbreaking! Sad news about Douglas from B&B, what happened?
Thomas returned home alone, without his son, Douglas. The last time The Bold and the Beautiful viewers saw him was in July 2025.
What Happened To Douglas?
Hope (Annika Noelle) is Douglas’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) legal guardian. She entered a custody agreement with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) in 2023. However, their relationship has made their custody arrangement complicated.
It came to blows when Hope rejected Thomas’s proposals. He promised to go back to Paris and to bring Douglas with him, leaving Hope heartbroken and raging.
Douglas hasn’t visited Hope in over a year. The last time he was on screen was when he and his father returned with Paris (Diamond White). Thomas returned home to share the news that they were engaged.
Douglas now considered Paris as his mother. But their happy family didn’t last for long. Thomas found out what Paris’ mother, Grace (Cassandra Creech), did to Liam (Scott Clifton), so he called off their engagement.
Where Is He Now?
When Thomas returned, he shared an update on his life. He told Ridge that he ended his engagement to Paris. He couldn’t trust her because of her family’s shady dealings. (Was Thomas behind Grace’s blackmail?)
Douglas is having fun in the South of France with his friends. Thomas revealed that his son was already driving. So it sounds like they SORASed him as a 16-year-old, which gives him plenty of storyline potential.
B&B has been focused on the younger generation. It currently includes Will (Crew Morrow), Electra (Laneya Grace), Luna (Lisa Yamada), and Remy (Christian Weissmann). (B&B needs a younger cast, but will fall’s additions stay?)
The Next Generation
Now, there’s a new guy in the mix. Harrison Cone made his debut as Deke, Remy’s boyfriend. There have been whispers as to whether he’s related to Deacon (Sean Kanan) or Nick (Jack Wagner).
This would also be a good time to bring back Douglas. He’s probably a moody teenager who has some strong opinions about Thomas and Hope. Or maybe he could end up in serious trouble. He is Thomas Forrester’s son, after all.
