“The Shocking Truth Behind Steffy’s Shocking Return”: What Is She Hiding?
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is officially back on The Bold and the Beautiful as Steffy Forrester. After welcoming her fifth child, the actress returned to set at B&B’s brand-new studio to tape her first scenes.
It’s official — Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is back on The Bold and the Beautiful. The actress, who has played Steffy Forrester since 2008, has returned from maternity leave after welcoming her fifth child.
B&B supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk shared the happy update on X (formerly Twitter), posting a family photo of Wood with her TV husband Tanner Novlan (Finn) and their on-screen kids, Sophia Parras McKinley (Kelly) and Bryan David Garlick (Hayes).
“Excited to have Jacqueline MacInnes Wood back on set and taping her first scenes at our new studio!” he wrote, adding hashtags #Sinn and #SinnFamily.
A Growing Family
Wood has made Steffy one of the most enduring and beloved characters in daytime. Off-screen, she has been just as busy building her own family with husband Elan Ruspoli.
The couple welcomed their sons Rise in 2019, Lenix in 2021, Brando in 2022, and Valor in 2023.
In March 2025, the actress announced her fifth pregnancy but has kept details of the new arrival private, leaving fans to wonder whether she’s now the proud mom of five boys — or if the newest addition finally brought a girl into the mix.
Steffy’s Last Chapter
The last time viewers saw Steffy was on the July 28 episode, when she left town with her children. After Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) violent attack and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) “miracle surgery” to remove a brain tumor, Steffy needed time to regroup and protect her family.
Her absence left Finn struggling on his own while Liam grew closer to Hope (Annika Noelle).
When Steffy finally comes home, fans can expect her to have strong opinions about those developments — and she’ll likely be stunned, along with the rest of Los Angeles, when Luna resurfaces alive.
A Fresh Start at a New Studio
Wood’s return also marks a milestone behind the scenes. B&B recently moved to a new studio at Sunset Las Palmas after decades at Television City.
The change comes as the soap prepares to launch its 39th season, and having Steffy back at the center of the action feels like the perfect way to begin a new chapter. Based on the show’s taping schedule, viewers can expect to see Steffy back on-screen in early to mid-October.
After months of uncertainty, Steffy’s return promises to shake up the canvas once again. Her marriage, her family, and her rivalries will all come into play as the next wave of storylines unfolds.
