The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal there are some comings and goings information for the week of August 18, 2025. Fans can expect Matthew Atkinson to be back filming.
However, fans won’t see Thomas Forrester for a little while yet. Keep reading and let’s talk about the casting changes.
Matthew Atkinson’s Return Confirmed
Let’s start off with the most exciting news. Thomas is back, but he won’t be on-screen just yet. However, the actor did confirm on Instagram that he’s back filming.
He posted himself playing around at the soap’s studio complex. Then, he added, “Second time’s a charm.”
That certainly sounds interesting, and it has everyone wondering what storyline Thomas will be part of.
Thomas Forrester’s Comeback Date
As for Thomas’ comeback date, expect to see him on screen in September 2025. Perhaps he will be part of Taylor Hayes’ (Rebecca Budig) wedding story, which will end with her suffering another broken heart.
If news about Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) being alive comes out, then that could also prompt Thomas’ return. After all, Thomas and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) have always been very close.
Paris Buckingham’s Story
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Thomas’ return could also be tied into Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) fake tumor story.
The man just found out that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) figured out Grace Buckingham’s (Cassandra Creech) scam.
With Grace saying that they were threatening Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), could one of them return?
It would make sense for Paris to come with Thomas, and for them to bring Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). However, whether Douglas and Paris are coming back or not isn’t confirmed yet.3
Thomas left the soap in March 2024. Then, Thomas and Paris were engaged soon after. The couple made a brief appearance in July 2024. It’s been a long time, and it will be nice to have Thomas back.
Grace Buckingham’s Fate
As for Grace, fans know she turned herself into the police. However, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will still want his revenge. It’s not about the money to him, but the emotional turmoil she caused Liam, Bill, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Steffy, and others.
Fans watched Bill get Luna out of prison. Could he do something similar with Grace? Maybe the guys who were after Grace will still target her daughters? A lot could happen, so stay tuned!
