Bold & Beautiful Shocker: Luna’s Not Dead — and Here’s How We Know!
When Bold & Beautiful‘s Liam shot Luna, a whole lot of fans were happy to see the leather-clad psycho’s reign of terror come to an end. After all, nobody wants to see evil triumph over good… especially in this day and age!
But something seemed off about the character’s demise. One minute, we were told she’d come through surgery and been moved to recovery and the next, that she’d unexpectedly died.
With Luna supposedly out of the picture — the key word being “supposedly” — the show shifted its attention to Liam and his miraculous recovery.
Suddenly, we were so busy focusing on the improbability of his situation that we kinda sorta forgot all about Luna.
Until, that is, Li swung by Il Giardino during the episode airing on Tuesday, July 22 (recapped here), to have a conversation with Li.
That in and of itself was odd, given the extremely unpleasant history shared by the women. But what really caught our attention was Li telling Sheila that there wouldn’t be a service for their shared granddaughter, Luna. “That’s been handled,” Li insisted.
You know, the same way she shocked Steffy a while back by saying that she’d “handled” burial arrangements for Finn. Whom you might recall wasn’t actually, you know, dead.
On any other show, Li’s conversation with Sheila might not have triggered alarm bells. But this is Bold & Beautiful, where the only things recycled more than the dialogue are the plot points.
Clearly, Luna is alive and being tended to by Li, probably in the same hotel-turned-hospital room in which the doctor kept Finn after reports of his death proved to have been greatly exaggerated… by her!
Here’s hoping that Sheila proves a less willing dupe than did Steffy, who never really asked the follow-up questions which one might have under the circumstances. In fact, if the eight-toed waitress puts her mind to it, she might just realize not only what Li’s hiding but where.
And this time, the women are likely to work together rather than wage war against one another, given that they are quite literally the only people on the planet — including amongst viewers — who believe Luna deserves a second third gazillionth chance.
If — when? — Luna returns, she’ll be in good company. Just check out the gallery below in which we list just some of the many soap characters who’ve risen from the dead… including a few you’ve probably forgotten about!
