The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Taylor Rejects Ridge’s Marriage Proposal, Sets Him Free to Pursue Brooke?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) may reject Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) marriage proposal and set him free to pursue Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) instead.

Taylor wants to pretend she’s not insecure, but she wouldn’t be questioning Ridge about his lingering love for Brooke if that were true.

Ridge keeps insisting that Taylor is his path forward, but Taylor clearly has some doubts about that deep down.

Those doubts are only going to get worse now that Ridge knows Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) is back in Brooke’s orbit.

Ridge’s protective side may get stronger and stronger – leaving Taylor more worried than ever that he’s not over his former flame.

Of course, this could lead to Ridge taking things a step further to prove how committed he is.

After all, Eric Forrester (John McCook) downplayed that commitment at one point by reminding Ridge that he wasn’t engaged or married to Taylor.

Ridge may decide to rectify that and convince Taylor as well as himself that he can truly go all in with her.

Even if Ridge is willing to settle down with Taylor for another married chapter, that doesn’t mean she’ll agree to it.

Ridge will be running all over Italy chasing Brooke as part of a love triangle with Nick by the end of July.

That says a lot about who Ridge’s heart belongs to, so how will B&B take us from Ridge’s Taylor commitment to his upcoming Brooke pursuit?

It’d be nice if they could empower Taylor a bit and have her dump Ridge in the end.

Ridge might get down on one knee with an engagement ring and ask Taylor if she’ll marry him once more.

Perhaps Ridge will pledge his forever commitment – only for Taylor to insist she can’t accept this proposal.

Taylor might insist that Ridge is still in love with Brooke at his core and set him free so that he can go after her.

Maybe it’ll be Taylor who ends things and basically gives Ridge her blessing to be with Brooke since she’s who he truly wants.

No matter how it all goes down, Ridge and Taylor are indeed headed for a breakup.

Brooke also has an accident on the way that’ll help shape Ridge’s perspective about her being his soulmate.
