“The key for me was to make Nick fearless,” Wagner explained, noting that Nick’s no longer intimidated by Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). “When Ridge enters the scene, Nick treats him like a fly on his shoulder,” Wagner said, adding humor to the rivalry.
Nick’s mission in his return is clear: to win back Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Wagner revealed that Nick will challenge Brooke’s current relationship with Ridge, urging her to consider a future with him instead.
“The goal is for Brooke to wake up and see that maybe Nick is her future,” Wagner shared. Fans can look forward to seeing Nick push Brooke out of her comfort zone, as he brings her face to face with what’s been missing in her relationship with Ridge.
