B&B spoilers reveal that Carter’s odd behavior began with his big idea to expand Forrester Creations. Carter pitched the idea and it was taken seriously.
However, for multiple reasons, the answer was no. Eric Forrester (John McCook) didn’t want to sell out or lose the uniqueness of being a family-owned fashion house.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) reasoned that it would cost too much money.
It was also the wrong time as Carter had just advocated for the company to throw money and resources at Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) fashion line.
In the end, Carter’s pitch was denied. Carter wasn’t taking no for an answer and seemed to take the rejection personally. Carter even claimed that they didn’t even hear him out, which wasn’t true.
B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan’s Insta-Love
Around the time of Carter’s big pitch, he started a romance with Hope. Carter was pretty vocal and forward, which isn’t really like him with women.
Carter was even talking about fantasizing about Hope in lingerie. At that point, they hadn’t even expressed romantic interest in each other.
It was out of the blue and really creepy to talk to a family friend/coworker like that. Normally, Carter is really romantic and sweet, so this was very different.
The two just started a romance, but they are already declaring their undying love to each other. Soap romances are fast, but not this fast!

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Ridge feels so utterly betrayed. Ridge really considered Carter like a brother. Ridge put his complete trust in Carter for years.
Carter was even forgiven after sleeping with Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) wife at the time, Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer).
Ridge can’t seem to figure out the WHY in all of this. Ridge seems to be blaming Hope, but she can’t control someone’s mind. There seems to be something else going on and Hope is definitely taking advantage.

A lot of fans have been wondering if Hope’s sudden change in behavior is from a brain tumor. I don’t think Hope is sick, I think she’s discovering who she really is. On the other hand, I do wonder if Carter’s company takeover was triggered by a brain tumor.
It seems to be the only way for Carter to earn forgiveness. However, where does this leave Carter and Hope’s romance? Will Carter still “love” Hope after the tumor is removed?
