‘Sister Wives’ Tell-All 4 Preview: Christine Says All Kody Did Was Lie

As Sister Wives is set to wrap up Season 19, members of the Brown family are sharing their stories in one-on-one episodes. Many truth bombs are coming out as the family speaks with host Sukanya Krishnan. One “tell-all” has the titular “sister wives” answer a question fans have contemplated for years.

Christine Brown Made An Admission During A Recent Sister Wives Tell-All

Sister Wives premiered back in 2010. The TLC series showcases the lives of the Brown family, led by Kody, his current wife Robyn, and his former wives, Meri, Janelle, and Christine, in addition to their children.

For her part, Christine is Kody’s third wife, sharing six children and three grandchildren together. She and Kody divorced in 2021 after 27 years of marriage. Since then, she has been married to David Woolley.

In a teaser for the final part of the season’s tell-all, Krishnan talked to each of the “wives” about their history. In particular, she asked something fans have often wondered: if given the chance, would they do it all over again?

As Krishnan asked, “Living a plural life. Would you do it all again?” The first response shown was from Janelle, who shared, “I’m not sure I would have married him [Kody]. Honestly.”

Christine responded, “All he did was lie.” This was followed by Meri, who shared, “I’m not going to live polygamy again.”

Robyn, Kody’s current spouse, didn’t share the sentiments of the others, saying, “I always choose Kody.” For his part, Kody shared, “Polygamy doesn’t work if you fall in love.”

Krishnan then responded to this, saying, “And you fell in love.” Kody shared, “I fell in love, hard.” When asked if he would do it all again, Kody didn’t immediately answer the question, instead putting his head down.

Fans shared their own reactions to the clip on social media. In particular, one fan thought Kody should have spoken highly of the past because it gave him his children, especially in light of a family tragedy, the passing of Garrison Brown.

Fans Were Mixed On What The Response Should Have Been

As one fan shared, “The correct answer is: yes, because I love my children and without polygamy I would never have such great children with great moms. That’s how u respond when a child has died and the others don’t speak to u. Show that u love them and would like to reconcile.”

Other fans felt it was the best answer to say they wouldn’t repeat the past in some sense. As one fan shared, “Well of course the correct answer from him would be no knowing what I know now I would not do it again absolutely not. And actually they all lied right from the beginning.”

Fans continued to share their own reactions in the comments. A few even teased some ideas on what direction the show should take now. Some comments included:

• “What happened to love should be multiplied not divided? Oh ya, he divided it alright.”
• “‘I always choose Kody.’ Like she has a choice. He supports her and her brood. She would have one of her panic attacks if she had to find an actual job.”

• “Please end this with an announcement that he and [Robyn]’ won’t be part of the show and the 3 get a spin off… imagining a title like ‘Sister Wives: Moving On.’”
