David Woolley Breaks Silence About Late Wife’s Suicide

Sister Wives fans knew that David Woolley was a widower with many children and grandchildren. It had been briefly addressed that his first wife had taken her own life. Yet, not much was said about it, and he seemed grateful to have found Christine Brown Woolley.

She had been in a loveless marriage to Kody Brown for almost three decades, so she immediately knew David was the one.

He was warm, kind, handsome, family-oriented; everything she had wanted and more. Unfortunately, in March 2024, Garrison Brown took his own life. Although he was Kody and Janelle Brown’s son, Christine had raised him along with the other children.

During the Sunday, May 11th episode, the cast was talking about the aftermath of his passing. Christine was trying to hold it together while speaking with her husband. However, David soon shared his experience having losing his wife to suicide over a decade ago:

“I blame myself.”
