GH fans know Nathan is eager to rejoin the PCPD and get back to solving crimes, but Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) recently pumped the brakes.
Anna isn’t sure Nathan will ever be cleared to work again – at least not without more information about where he’s been and what he’s been up to over the last seven years.
There are a lot of unknowns when it comes to Nathan’s missing time, but maybe his work could speak for itself soon enough.
If Nathan can prove he’s ready to dive back in and rise to the challenge, maybe he could get his old job back after all.
After Nathan catches up with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) in the coming episodes, she might seek his help digging deeper into this whodunit.
Lulu is showing some signs of sympathy when it comes to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) while her suspicions about Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) are growing stronger.
It would obviously help Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and her daughter if Nathan could prove someone other than Willow shot Drew.
That could give Nathan a little extra motivation to investigate this case.
Of course, Nathan would have to launch this investigation unofficially since he doesn’t have his badge back yet.
As long as Nathan doesn’t cross too many lines to get to the truth, his potential plan might work out well for him.
Uncovering the real culprit might go a long way toward proving Nathan still has what it takes to be a good cop.
Nathan could clear Willow’s name and take down the person who’s actually responsible in the end.
Perhaps Nathan’s impressive sleuthing skills could speed things along when it comes to him becoming a detective once again.
Nathan would be thrilled if he could rejoin the force and get back to crime-solving, so will he crack Drew’s case and open the door to what he wants?
