Jason’s reveals the secret that Monica has kept hidden for so long that no one in the GH knows

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will have some heartbreaking Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) news to share. It looks like Jason will spread the word at the Q mansion that the matriarch has passed away, so let’s discuss the difficult moments ahead.

Now that Jason is back from Croatia, he’ll no doubt want to stop by Monica’s room and catch up.

Jason may decide it’s too late by the time he gets home and opt to wait until morning when Monica awakens.

Sadly, Monica may never wake up for that conversation.

There’s a good chance Monica will die in her sleep, so Jason may enter her room and find that she’s already gone.

On September 17, Jason will have some sad updates to pass along, so he’ll presumably tell Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and anyone else who’s around to face the tough blow at the Q estate.

It sounds like Jason will spill that Monica died, so they’ll all try to figure out how to wrap their heads around this.

Monica has been ill for a while now, so it’s not like it’ll be a total shock.

At the same time, it’ll be hard for the people who care about Monica to carry on without her.

Jason and Tracy will be truly devastated over Monica’s demise, so they’ll come together for a heartfelt conversation soon.

It’ll be nice for Tracy and Jason to have each other to lean on.

Jason will deal with some regrets in the aftermath of Monica’s death, but Tracy may reflect on how much Jason and Monica loved each other.

That’s all that really mattered in the end!

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will also react to Monica’s passing, so you can bet he’ll offer support to Tracy, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and anyone else who needs it.

As for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), it appears it’ll be Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) who fills him in on the Monica loss.

Will Drew actually have a human reaction for once and show signs of mourning?

Drew and Monica haven’t been on good terms in a while now, but there was a time when they cared deeply about each other.

Maybe Drew can find that part of himself and grieve a bit before he goes back to being the despicable GH villain we’re all used to.
