General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) new man may have just been revealed. Did GH just set up a shocking pairing that’ll make some waves in Port Charles?
In the September 10 episode, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) summoned Nina in hopes of striking a deal.
Nina cracked a joke about Brennan meeting with Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) sworn enemy, but Brennan was unbothered and made his pitch anyway.
After Brennan pushed Nina to speak with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and get her on board with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) visiting Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he offered something in return.
Once Brennan brought up the Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) investigation, he suggested Nina and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) would need the WSB’s help soon.
Brennan and Nina’s conversation may have laid some important groundwork for the road ahead.
There’s a chance it even set up a romantic pairing depending on where GH writers want to go from here.
After Nina comes through for Brennan, he may follow through on his offer to her, too.
There may be a situation down the line where Brennan steps in and uses WSB resources to help Nina, Willow or both out of a jam.
Just when it looks like Willow or Nina could land in prison, Brennan might intervene and make sure that doesn’t happen.
That could leave Nina filled with gratitude and bring her closer to Brennan.
Of course, we also have to consider the harsh reality that Brennan’s up against.
Brennan’s relationship with Carly was doomed the moment he decided to recruit Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) for a dangerous WSB job, which nearly got Joss killed in Croatia.
The clock is ticking on the end of Carly and Brennan’s romance since she’ll inevitably dump him when she finds out this Josslyn news.
Brennan is going to need a new love interest to ease his pain after that breakup – and Nina just so happens to be single!
Is the show already putting the pieces in place for Nina and Brennan’s love story or at least a comforting fling?
