Drew’s Shooter’s Identity Will Surprise Fans! General Hospital Spoilers
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the words “who shot Drew?” are on everyone’s lips in Port Charles. Congressman Crooked got it twice in the back, in his own home, and the suspect list is loooong due to his propensity to make enemies.
But after watching the September 4 episode of the ABC soap, we have a sneaking suspicion about who the real culprit is—keep reading to see if you agree!
Did Nina Shoot Drew?
You have to admit, the show went to an awful lot of trouble to feature Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) making excuses and alibis for herself. First off, Nina knew that Drew had been shot even though the news had not been broadcast yet.
This came out when she talked to her daughter, and mutual Drew Cain sheet partner, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Nina marched right up to a crumpled Willow and started blabbing about Drew to which Willow asked how she knew he’d been shot since the news hadn’t broken yet. Nina murmured something about hearing some nurses talking about it.
Is Nina Responsible for Drew’s Shooting?
Then, Nina decided to lie and say that she and Willow were together earlier, when Drew was shot, even though they were not.
Willow shot her mom a look and later ripped into her for lying. Willow said she didn’t appreciate being made Nina’s alibi, but Nina retorted that that was not why she lied. Nina claimed to have lied to protect Willow and to give her an alibi. Talk about gaslighting!
Nina Keeps Making Excuses
Nina also jawed at Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) about how Drew needed to be stopped. Both ladies hate Drew, but Portia has an alibi—she was cheating on her husband with another doctor!
Later, fans saw Nina and Portia play a tense cat and mouse game about who was where when Drew was shot.
And let’s not forget Nina’s violent past. Back in the day, Nina kidnapped pregnant Ava Jerome (Maura West) and stole her baby. That is epic.
All in all, it looks like the show wants us to suspect Nina is the shooter—tell us what you think about this theory GH fans!
