General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, September 8 tease connecting the dots, bargaining chips and a ride to the rescue!
The PCPD team connects the dots in the recent murder and attempted murder, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) tries a bargaining chip, and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) the ride to the rescue!
Frustrated Waiting
At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house, where Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is still a “captive audience” in the basement, Ava Jerome (Maura West) expresses her frustration.
She tells Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) “we need to handle this now!” The only problem is, if she’s talking about getting her money back that Ric drained, the bonds he put them in aren’t ready to mature-that’s why he’s tied up in the basement!
What does Ava think “handling this now” is going to do for her-and what exactly does she have in mind to “handle” it? Kristina doesn’t have words-she just shakes her head and looks downwards!
Connecting The Dots
Port Charles Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) briefs PCPD detectives Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
There are two crimes to solve, the attempted murder of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and the murder of Judge Eva Heran (Tessa Auberjonois). Chase’s question seems valid as he asks Anna, “Any reason to think the two are connected”?
Perhaps where Chase is going with this is he’s wondering if the same person is behind the two crimes, in an attempt to frame someone for them? The puzzle pieces could certainly fit, once they have them all before them!
What’s Going On?
As Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina were talking earlier about Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) tried to call Molly, but she dismissed the call.
Now, she sees he sent a text that says “911” and she decides she’d better follow up on it. She looks more alarmed than curious as she asks, “911? What’s going on?”
Is Cody hurt and asking Molly to help-that’s doubtful, he’s usually the knight in white armor and cowboy boots!
Or is there a situation that he knows Molly should know about-did he find an escapee from summer camp trying to ride away on a horse?

Where’s Scout Cain?
In the meantime, Alexis is still at the hospital talking to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) about the missing Scout.
Willow is officially Scout’s guardian as long as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is recovering from his shooting, and they got a call she was missing from summer camp.
Alexis had gone with a bag of clothes and other things of Scout’s and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is allowing both Willow and Scout to stay at her house.
Scout’s nanny didn’t know where Scout was, and they have to assume Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) wouldn’t take a risk at picking her up again. Alexis and Willow both seem perplexed as Alexis asks, “Question is, where’d she go?”
Bargaining Chips
At the Five Poppies resort in Dalmatia, Croatia, Josslyn and S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) are still captive in a room. Josslyn appears to be trying a bargaining chip as she asks someone, probably an underling, “Is this job worth your life?”
She and Vaughn have overheard enough to know there is a heretofore unidentified big boss who’s the real head of the show.
Might she be implying their guard might be killed if they’re allowed to die, either because of his own big boss or WSB forces on the way? Is she trying to convince whoever she’s talking to it would be better if they were let go?

Anger And Frustration
In the meantime, back in Port Charles at the WSB field office, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) is on the phone in anger and frustration. He now knows that Colette Moreau (Mercedes Renard Lopez) is a double agent, and he’s likely on the phone to his own superior.
His anger is palpable as he shouts into the phone, “Our agents are blown-they could be dead already!”
He slams the phone down in frustration, likely wondering how he’s going to explain it to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) if Josslyn has died as the result of his recruitment into the WSB!
Ride To The Rescue
Back in Dalmatia, Croatia, Jason is talking to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in her lab at the Five Poppies Resort after finding her note in her suite.
He had barely missed Pascal’s (Marc Forget) assassin’s bullet, and already disposed of his body and now he’s trying to ride to the rescue. He tells Britt he’s not going to hurt you and trying to persuade her to let him get her out of there.
He doesn’t yet know there are two more people needing him to ride to their rescue. Will Britt tell Jason about Josslyn and Vaughn-and will Jason keep Josslyn’s WSB secret from her mom if he rescues them?
