Ryan Paevey speaks out to clarify rumors about whether he will return to General Hospital
Ryan Paevey is returning to General Hospital after a seven-year hiatus. Soap Hub revealed the exciting news last week, following the rumor mill running wild that Paevey was headed back to Port Charles.
Taking It All In Stride
Ever since the news dropped, Peavey has been having fun with fans in more ways than one. The actor shared a video on Instagram Stories that highlighted his humor and had a big reveal.
“Hey, guys. Warm this week,” he said as he was walking outside before panning to the General Hospital studio sign. “You hear anything. Any news? You guys hear anything this week? Yeah, I didn’t hear anything either. Nothing new to report, I don’t think. If you hear anything, though, like let me know, would ya? That would be cool.”
One fan reshared the clip on X, and fans couldn’t get enough of it or Paevey. “love it” “He’s such a goof. Love it” “LOL! So cute” and “ Beautiful Ryan” are just some of the comments left on the X.
That wasn’t the only time the actor poked fun at all the hoopla surrounding his soap return. In an Instagram Post, Paevey shared a headshot where he looks smoking hot with a couple of headlines about his GH comeback.
“Is this how I announce I’m back?” he joked.

The Big Question
When he wasn’t making fun of all the news around his return, Paevey asked fans an important question. Right now, we don’t know if he is returning as a back-from-the-dead Nathan West or a new character.
Paevey used a throwback clip of Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan to ask, “Is Nathan West back???” The actor told fans to leave their predictions in the comments, and they did just that.
Many simply admitted they don’t care who he plays; they are just happy to have him on the ABC soap. Some feel he will be Nathan, while others think he will be an evil twin or someone wearing a Nathan mask, which GH fans know is the Faison (Anders Hove) way.
Faison is, of course, the father of Nathan, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and Peter (Wes Ramsey). Soap Hub shared wild fan predictions for Peavey’s return. Peter, pretending to be Nathan, was on that list.
