General Hospital Fans Saw Cameron Mathison Take On The Role Of Drew Cain In 2021
Mathison originally got his big break in soaps playing Ryan Lavery on All My Children. Becoming a household name in the genre, he even served as the host of I Wanna Be a Soap Star.
Since 2021, Mathison has been bringing Drew Cain to life on General Hospital. Since then, however, the actor has become subject to various rumors claiming his time on the show is at an end.

In recent months, rumors abounded that Drew Cain would be killed off the show since around June. Many fans suspected this was due to backlash over the character’s affair with Willow, who was married to Drew’s nephew, Michael.
Rumors of a new mystery unfolding in Port Charles have continued over the ensuing months. More recently, one fan took to social media to suggest the show could even have Willow be the one to shoot Drew.
However, Mathison himself has also recently broken his silence about whether or not his time on the show is coming to an end. However, it was something of a “blink and you’ll miss it” moment for fans.
Taking to Instagram, in a post from mid-August, Mathison recently shared a moment between him and his daughter, Leila. As he wrote, “Gonna miss this monkey when she goes off to school again.”
