General Hospital’s TJ Ashford Just Announced Shocking News That Shocked Fans
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest it’s been a hot minute since fans have seen TJ Ashford on canvas. He has been MIA since December 2024, after separating from his domestic partner, Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos), after they lost their first child.
TJ’s portrayer, Tajh Bellow, recently hopped on social media to talk about what’s next for his character in the land of Port Charles.

General Hospital fans may recall that Bellow has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category. The awards ceremony takes place in October of this year.
The nomination was set forth based on the actor’s work surrounding his surrogacy pregnancy storyline, as well as his and Molly’s loss of their newborn daughter.
Bellow posted a video on IG, in selfie mode, to update his followers. He notes he’s been taking his time processing his Daytime Emmy nomination and thanked everyone for their support of TJ and messages of congratulations.
He adds, “It was a privilege to be afforded the space as a Creole Black man to grieve and hurt and really wrestle and tackle that raw emotion, and then for that to be visible to millions of viewers, I think that is important storytelling. And I hope that it opens doors for more people that look like me and talk like me. I’m excited.”
TJ Ashford’s Future
Bellow goes on to say, “As far as the future of TJ, if he’ll be back and in the capacity in which he’ll be back, I can’t speak to that yet, but I am excited about upcoming projects that are on the way and… more diverse storytelling.”
The comment section was on fire, with Marc Anthony Samuel (GH’s ex-Felix Dubois) stating, “More diverse storytelling is where it’s at! Congratulations, bro.” Meanwhile, Tanisha Harper (Jordan Ashord) replied with, “I’m so excited for you! Doing big things!”
A major event occurring in Bellow’s life is attending L.A.’s Loyola Marymount University, working toward his Master’s in Entertainment Leadership and Management this fall, which is likely to keep him very busy.
