In the Tuesday, Aug. 12, episode of General Hospital, Drew suffers every parent’s worst nightmare. No, not that their child will grow up to be him (although that would be horrific, too).

Drew gets a call that his and Sam’s daughter Scout has gone missing from Lila’s Kids camp. Now the question is, which of his enemies made off with the little girl?

What Happened to Scout?

What, exactly, happens to Scout remains a mystery… for now. But whatever it is, it’s got Drew panicked.

Admittedly, the guy is never going to be nominated for Father of the Year — especially not after he deliberately misled would-be stepson Wiley to believe that dad Michael had lost interest in him and sister Amelia upon the arrival of new baby Daisy. (Remember that?)

But down deep, Drew loves his little girl — and probably on some level knows that former wife Sam will haunt him if he lets any harm come to her!

(What we wouldn’t give to watch her read him for filth!) So he’s sure to move heaven and earth to get to the bottom of her disappearance.

Considering that ever since Drew hooked up with nephew Michael’s wife Willow and became a mustache-twirling villain (without the mustache), he’s been racking up enemies like they were going out of style, there are a plethora of suspects in Scout’s disappearance.

The latest spoilers for General Hospital, August 12, tease that Scout is missing, leaving fans wondering who took her. Introduced in 2017, she is the daughter of Drew Cain and his late ex-wife, Sam McCall.

Recently, Drew has been making plans to take Scout away from Port Charles, with Alexis being unimpressed about his decision.

While he is about to set his plan in motion, he discovers that his daughter has disappeared. So, who is behind Scout’s kidnapping? Here’s what fans think of who could be potential suspects.

General Hospital fans think Monica took Scout

General Hospital fans have a lot of suspicions about many characters who could be behind Scout’s disappearance. However, one of the characters that fans strongly think could be responsible is Monica.

In January 2025, Monica potrayer Leslie Charleson passed away, with the reason cited as “sequelae of blunt head trauma.” However, her character continues to be a pivotal figure in the current storyline.

The latest episode focuses on Drew continuing to materialize his plans of taking Scout to Washington, DC. He has also arranged school tours for her.

Alexis, however, is not happy with Drew’s decision, as Sam always wished for Scout to remain close to the family. Sometime later, Drew receives a call, which reveals that Scout is missing. He becomes worried, desperately asking about her whereabouts. It remains unclear as to who took away Scout.

Many believe that Scout could be with Monica. This is because Alexis had earlier hoped that Monica might talk sense into Drew and stop him from taking Scout. So, many think that Monica will fight to keep her granddaughter and sabotage Drew’s plans.

On the contrary, some fans also think that Alexis could have made Scout disappear, as she wasn’t really happy with Drew’s relocation plans. Other suspects also include Sidwell, Willow, or Jason. A few fans also think that Scout could have run away, too.
