General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Crashes Mac’s BBQ as Cody’s Date – Jealous Molly Loses It?
eneral Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Ava Jerome (Maura West) may crash Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) BBQ as Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) date, so jealous Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) could lose it since she’s invited, too.
In the August 7 episode, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) approached Cody and invited him to Mac’s upcoming barbeque bash.
When Cody found out Molly got an invitation as well, he tried to decline since she blew up at him recently.
Cody doesn’t know that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is behind the dramatic change in Molly’s attitude, but he knows Molly isn’t his biggest fan these days.
That’s why Cody didn’t think he should be in the same orbit as Molly right now, but Felicia kept pushing until Cody accepted the invite.
Did GH writers just set the stage for a dramatic blowup?
Parties and other gatherings are often the backdrop for soapy disasters, so Mac’s BBQ may get derailed.
With Cody and Molly both in attendance, that alone is enough to bring tension.
However, even bigger trouble could be brewing if Ava crashes the bash.
Now that Ava’s fed up with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), she’s definitely eager to spend more time with Cody.
Ava and Cody shared some sizzling poolside moments, so Ava has no problem flaunting their connection in public.
Since Ava is someone who enjoys stirring the pot, she might love the idea of strutting in this cookout on Cody’s arm.
That’s especially true if Ric and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) also end up in attendance.
It could give Ava a chance to show off the new man in her life and prove she’s moving on!
Ava might catch Cody off guard by inviting herself and pressuring him to bring her as his plus one.
Cody may be a bit wary considering Kristina’s seduction plot is the real reason he’s pulling Ava closer.
At the same time, Cody does seem genuinely attracted to Ava and is starting to see that she has more layers than he thought.
Besides, if Cody wants to keep up the scheme Kristina’s paying him for, he can’t have Ava thinking he’s shy about parading her around.
Kristina’s plan is working so far, but she’ll need Cody to keep it going until she can be certain the blackmail mess is over.
With all that in mind, we could imagine Ava crashing Mac’s BBQ with Cody and infuriating Molly in the process.
