Stella sets a trap for Drew, who is shot dead by Sidwell | General Hospital Spoilers
‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has now targeted Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), and the only reason we can think of is that Stella is Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) aunt.
Drew is obsessed with hurting Curtis’s family. However, he may also have something to gain from it. Drew wants to reunite with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
He knows that the way to Willow’s heart is her kids. He’s assuming that if he saves the day and is the reason Willow gets custody, she’ll come running back to him.
Perhaps she would, but he’s likely to play dirty to achieve his goal. Drew first learned that Stella finessed the system for Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and got his insurance reinstated.
Stella is the matriarch of Curtis’s family and the kind hospital social worker, willing to occasionally bend the rules if it benefits the patient’s best interests. Stella went out of her way to help Martin.
After he found out about Stella, he approached Curtis to tell him he wanted to bury the hatchet. He claimed he was fed up with the back-and-forth revenge between them.
However, Drew is playing Curtis like a violin. We’re surprised Curtis even bought what Drew was selling, especially after Curtis ruined Drew and Willow’s wedding.
Curtis shared a very unpleasant truth with Willow. He told her that her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), had an affair with Drew while he and Willow were first falling in love.
We can imagine Drew using the information on Stella to coerce Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to alter Michael Corinthos’s (Rory Gibson) medical records to make it look like he’s abusing opioids.
That way, Michael would lose custody of Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko), and the children would go to Willow.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Stella Could Get Into Trouble For Insurance Fraud
When Drew first went to Portia, she put her foot down and told him where he could stick it. She was even prepared to lose her role as co-chief of staff at the hospital, and in all probability, her medical license.
However, now that Drew has leverage over Stella, will he try his dirty tactic and blackmail Portia again? Curtis also cost him his bride, and Drew won’t forget that anytime soon.
In the August 8th episode of GH, Drew watched as Portia and Stella shared a warm embrace. He decided to report Stella and made the call to Financial Services to get the ball rolling.
Stella could get into a lot of trouble for insurance fraud. That said, Stella is a strong woman. She may fight back. Not to mention, Martin would finally see Drew for the scum he really is.
Martin would no doubt go to bat for Stella, which may help her situation. It’s unclear whether Stella would discover who reported her, but if she does, she should seek help from Portia and Curtis immediately.
Clearly, Drew is after Curtis and his family, and he’s not about to back down anytime soon. Will he use the information for blackmail purposes or go ahead and hurt Stella solely for revenge?
