General Hospital Spoilers: 3 Reasons Why Carly Will Become Britt’s Worst Nightmare

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that there are at least three reasons why Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will become Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) worst nightmare – that is if she’s the real Britt! Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is doomed for drama no matter what, so let’s talk about all the Carly and Britt problems headed his way.

1) Carly gets protective when it comes to Jason

GH fans know Carly adores Jason and wants what’s best for him, but she can sometimes go overboard when it comes to being protective.

Jason can take care of himself, but that never stops Carly from crossing lines and playing guard dog.

If Kelly Thiebaud is indeed playing Britt again, then she may ultimately reignite her spark with Jason.

Carly is sure to have plenty of questions about Britt’s survival and may argue that Jason can’t trust her enough to renew their romance.

2) Carly may secretly want Jason for herself

Of course, some fans suspect that Carly secretly still wants Jason for herself! Carly and Jason basically agreed they like being in the friend zone, but is that really the case on Carly’s end?

Although Carly has found happiness with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), her bond with him isn’t as meaningful as her bond with Jason.

Once Brennan’s secrets and betrayals come to light, Carly will no doubt lean on Jason for support.

That could stir up stronger feelings for Carly, especially if Jason and Britt are growing closer again by then.

Carly may want Jason for herself deep down and make some moves because of that true desire.

3) Carly will stand with Lulu against Britt

Ever since Alexa Havins Bruening made her debut as a Lulu Spencer recast, the show’s been trying to restore Lulu and Carly’s cousin connection.

Carly is close with Lulu again and will certainly stand against Britt when it comes to any bonding she might want to do with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).

Jason is already involved in this storyline since he gave Rocco a more positive perspective on Britt – much to Lulu’s dismay.

This could bring even more issues for Jason to contend with when Carly sides with Lulu in her inevitable Britt feud.

Although the show hasn’t confirmed that Kelly Thiebaud is reprising the role of Britt, there’s a good chance she’ll turn out to be Britt in the end.

Regardless, Thiebaud seems poised to play Jason’s love interest and clash with Carly for various story-related reasons
