When the news broke about Slezak joining GH and making a fall debut, the show was careful to keep her role under wraps.
Fans were left wondering if Slezak might reprise the part of One Life to Live’s Victoria “Viki” Lord Buchanan or if she’d be playing someone completely new instead.

Regardless, Slezak’s character could turn into a new sparring partner for Tracy and shake things up.
We might see Monica’s long-lost sister cause a dispute over her will and launch another round of typical Quartermaine chaos.
Viewers are eager to see Leslie Charleson and her beloved character get the sendoff she deserves.
It’s taking a little time for Monica’s farewell episodes to hit the screen, but they’re sure to be emotional and deliver a wonderful tribute.
From there, perhaps the show can use Monica’s demise to jumpstart some new fall drama.
