It’s Over!đ Finally! Shocked! GH Steve Burtonâs Ex-Wife Causes Him Big Problems. It will shocked you
Steve Burton and his ex-wife, Sheree Burton, have been trading jabs via court documents while fighting over custody of their youngest child.
Sheree accused the soap opera star, 54, of being unrelenting in his messages about their daughter Brooklyn, according to a recent filing obtained by In Touch. (The exes share three children: Makena, Jack and Brooklyn, the youngest of which is a minor.)
âIn the past few months, [Steve] has started to message me and accuse me of parental alienation if he cannot get ahold of Brooklyn,â Sheree alleged, in the documents, claiming, âHis messages are almost daily and are harassing.â
The General Hospital actor denied Shereeâs accusations, with his lawyer Sarah C. Clark telling Us Weekly in a statement on Tuesday, May 27, âSteve maintains that Shereeâs allegations are categorically false. He has, and will continue to, act in the best interests of the partiesâ daughter, Brooklyn, which includes ensuring there is frequent and continuing contact with both parents.â

The statement continued: âOn May 12, 2025, the Court heard the evidence loud and clear and granted Steve additional custodial time with Brooklyn that Sheree was unwilling to provide.â
Sheree and Steve announced their split in May 2022 after 23 years of marriage. At the time, Sheree was pregnant with another manâs baby. During their divorce, they agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their three children.
Steve, however, claimed in a May 5 filing obtained by Us that Sheree took issue with his new romance with now-wife Michelle Lundstrom and as a result was gatekeeping Brooklyn from him. (Steve and Lundstrom tied the knot on May 17.)

âEarly on in my relationship with Michelle, Sheree began to refuse to call Michelle by her name and instead referred to her as âthe girlâ in an effort to downplay her role in my life,â Steve alleged in the docs.
He also shared alleged screenshots of his and Shereeâs text exchanges, including one in which she allegedly wrote, âMichelle is not your family or our kidsâ family lol. She is your girlfriend.â
The reported message from Sheree continued, âYou and I know this is about optics to you. You guys have seen Brooklyn maybe a month total this entire year. I donât [plaster] her face all over social media.â Sheree told Steve at the time, âI donât want her on social media like that.â
Steve also shared a message from his ex-wife sent on April 8 in which Sheree made it clear she didnât want Lundstrom to be so involved in Brooklynâs day to day life.
âI am not OK with Michelle picking Brooklyn up from school tomorrow. If youâre not going to see Brooklyn then I will be picking her up,â Sheree wrote in the alleged text.
Steve replied, âWhy is that a problem?â per the filing. âDictating who can pick Brooklyn up for my custodial time and only allowing me to exercise custody if I personally pick her up is highly unreasonably and demonstrated the control Sheree is attempting to assume during my custodial time,â Steve told the court in his declaration.

The actor also claimed that Sheree âmade it clear to me that she did not want Brooklyn to spend time with me if Michelle or her daughters were present.â
Steve alleged, âWhen Michelle and her daughters were in town Sheree would make it difficult for me to exercise custodial time with Brooklyn when I was in California. All of my requests were met with resistance. Sheree would tell me my requested time did not work or they were busy, despite providing her with ample notice.â
Sheree â who has since welcomed daughters Izabella and Addy, in 2023 and 2024, respectively, with her husband Jason Amador â denied all of Steveâs claims that she was refusing to work with him on a custody schedule.
