Is Nell Benson Back from the Dead to Torment Sasha on General Hospital?

There’s something strange going on with Sasha Gilmore’s baby girl, Daisy—and fans of General Hospital are beginning to suspect foul play. From mistaken baby swaps to eerie moments alone in the nursery, it’s clear someone is gaslighting Sasha. But the real question is—who?

Speculation is running wild that the culprit could be none other than Nell Benson, the presumed-dead daughter of Nina Reeves and twin sister to Willow.

Although Nell supposedly died after falling from a cliff during a struggle with Carly, her body was never shown onscreen. A gravestone was placed in Port Charles Cemetery, but that hardly closes the door—this is a soap opera after all, and death is rarely permanent.

Fans have good reason to suspect Nell. She has a well-documented obsession with Michael Corinthos, the father of Sasha’s child. Nell, who once faked a pregnancy and committed a laundry list of crimes, might be consumed with jealousy that Sasha now shares something real with Michael—a child.

This could explain the psychological torment Sasha has been enduring: a crib scene where Daisy is found facing the wrong direction in a different outfit, and an earlier incident when she was handed the wrong baby at General Hospital.

Still, there’s a final twist: Could it actually be Willow, not Nell? After losing custody of her children thanks to Sidwell, Willow may have experienced a mental break—possibly even developing dissociative identity disorder (DID). One half of her psyche may still believe she’s Willow, while the other channels Nell’s bitterness and vengeance.

And let’s not rule out an even darker possibility: Nell might be working with Sidwell. Both have mutual enemies, and Sidwell has shown an unusual interest in Daisy. What if Sidwell provided the bomb that nearly went off at Sonny’s penthouse—and Nell was the one who planted it?
