General Hospital Recap : Tracy Arrested – Michael Flies Home

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and recaps for Tuesday, May 20, reveal an explosive day in the land of Port Charles.

As the official launch to the 2025 Nurses Ball, the soap opened with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) on dual screens, saying “no” simultaneously until they both agreed (to something).

It seems there was a last-minute cancellation of the two original red-carpet co-hosts, and the powers that be reached out and asked them to do it.

The two show up behind the Nurses Ball backdrop and welcome viewers to the event.

They ran into was special guest star, entertainment journalist, Lesley Robins on the red carpet.

She and Nina talked fashion, and then she and the two Nurses Ball co-hosts are ready to interview guests entering the big gala.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was the first person to walk the red carpet, and her ‘date” was a llama named Sebastian.

Lucy’s cute date was brought to the Nurses Ball festivities to spread awareness around llama rescue organizations that act as sanctuaries for those that are neglected and need medical care.

Of course, Lucy thanked Drew and Nina for stepping in on short notice and commented on what a ‘gorgeous pair’ the two made (Nina’s eyes rolled in the back of her head).

Next to hit the red carpet was Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his sweet date, his youngest daughter, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears).

Drew was quick to bring up the town’s referendum and how the people of Port Charles held the fate of the mob boss’s pier ownership.

Sonny was quick to tell Drew that this wasn’t the place nor the time to talk about politics.

Meanwhile, Nina tried to brush off Drew’s statement by commenting on how beautiful Donna’s dress was.

Of course, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was the next to hit the red carpet, and things got very awkward as Drew tried to rattle her by bringing up the fact that Michael Corinthos (last played by Chad Duell) had to miss the Ball because of his burn injury.

Thankfully, Carly was able to keep her composure, which was a miracle considering the all-out brawl she and Nina had during the May 19 episode.

Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) walked the Nurses Ball red carpet with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and Nina asked about Jordan quitting her city job as Deputy Mayor.

This is when Jordan announced that she is now the COO of Jenz’s company, and notes that her boss picked up the tab as the sole contributor to the Nurses Ball.

Drew then attempted to start touting about Jenz’s incredible work in the community, which is when Nina cut him off and announced Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Isaiah Gannon (Swandi Wilson) entering the gala.

Felicia makes it clear that she and Isaiah are hospital colleagues, and he agreed to walk her down the red carpet as her hubby, Mac Scorpio (John J. York), is still at work.

Jordan and Isaiah’s eyes meet as Nina asks if the handsome doctor is single, and she replies, “Yes.”

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) walk in together, and this is when Trina is treated with a surprise as Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) is right behind them, decked out in a tux.

Kai has officially been released from the hospital, and Trina happily joins him as they take pictures and walk into the Nurses Ball together.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) also stroll the red carpet, but not without Joss taking a massive jab at Drew, calling him a “trash co-host” as the cameras are rolling.

Nina notes, in a very nice way, that Josslyn has obviously gotten some sassiness from her late grandmother, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), to which Joss thanks her for the compliment.

The Quartermaines arrive and are about to hit the red carpet when Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) declares she wants to walk with her “two girls” – Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton), by her side.

Lulu opts to walk in with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), who’s quite pleased that she’s his date for the night.

Tracy then asks Brook Lynn, and her granddaughter suggests that she join her and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
