GH Spoilers: Lulu & Cody’s plan to set up a story between Gio and Dante’s
General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) has been itching to tell Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about the unknown son he has ever since she found out about Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase’s (Amanda Sutton) teen pregnancy and adoption.
Still, everyone she’s confided in has shot her down and warned her against this.
That is, until she told Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) about her discovery and who she believes Dante’s son could be!
Lulu confided in both Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) about Brook Lynn’s secret teen adoption, and both women were very against her about spilling the beans.
The amount of hurt and pain that this secret reveal could cause would be terrible, but Lulu is chomping at the bit to do so.
Especially, now that she thinks Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is Dante and Brook Lynn’s long-lost son.
Cody was instantly “all-in” to exposing the truth, especially in light of his own daddy issues in the past, and the fact that he’s been lied to all these years!
It’s interesting that GH writers have decided to loop Cody into all this, but if fans look ahead and speculate about what’s to come, it sort of makes sense.
Not only has Cody’s approval of Lulu exposing this secret offered her the encouragement she needs to push the button on this, but he’ll also likely help her in obtaining the evidence she needs to prove Gio is Dante and Brook Lynn’s son.
The two found some proof regarding Gio’s parentage, but it’s not conclusive.
During the Monday, May 19 episode, Lulu was sent a picture of Gio’s mom, Carmella, who claimed she was pregnant with her son while on tour.
One of her former bandmates not only sent Lulu a photo revealing that Carmella was not pregnant during the time she claimed to be, but told Lulu that Carmella abruptly left the tour in late May.
Fans know that Gio’s birthday is May 15, while Gio believes it to be June 4. Regardless, a photo of a woman not being pregnant does not necessarily link Gio to Dante and Brook Lynn.
It’s only a matter of time before Cody or Lulu realizes that, rather than wasting their time hunting down the information from other sources, the intel they need to prove Gio is Dante’s son is looking straight at them.
The two simply need to do is gather some samples and conduct a DNA test to get the conclusive evidence they need.
Cody may be the one to think of this, as it wasn’t too long ago that he and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) did this test).
Lulu gathering the Falconieri DNA sample would be a snap; she could grab a piece of hair or a toothbrush from either Dante or her own son, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
Cody being brought into the loop means that he’ll be in charge of Gio’s sample, which should be fairly easy, as they both live on the Quartermaine estate.
GH spoilers suggest that fans can feel as if they are on the cusp of the Gio secret reveal, so Lulu and Cody will likely set this plan in motion, very soon.
Things in the land of Port Charles can take forever sometimes, and yet there are also times when things can move fast.
It may be only a matter of time before Lulu and Cody get the DNA samples they need, and they could secretly head to the lab and ask for a test to be run, ASAP.
General Hospital spoilers imply that the proverbial poop will hit the fan shortly where Gio is concerned, and from the looks of it, Lulu and Cody will be the ones responsible for bringing this 20+ year secret to the surface.
